New FRP tank trailer built for HCL service with a 5,400 U.S. gallon capacity and single-compartment design. This unit is constructed with an FRP/ALSA/FRP cylinder, FRP ends, and Derakane D510A-40 BPO/DMA product-approved liner/post-cure system. Designed as a U.S. DOT-412 tank trailer, exempted under SP-1078, with a 35 PSIG design pressure and 53 PSIG test pressure.

Main specs include an 18″ dome manhole with 10″ stainless steel load hatch, 3″ DOT407 TTFE-lined Girard vent, rear 4″ bottom unload, and an added top unload system. The top unload includes a 3″ FRP down pipe, 4″ PVC/PVC/EPDM butterfly valve with air/spring actuator, 3″ PVC/FRP rigid pipe, 1″ blowdown, additional 3″ PVC/PVC/EPDM butterfly valve, and 2″ PP male coupler with cap.
Trailer is equipped with a stainless steel subframe and suspension frame, two Hendrickson axles, Intraax suspension, HXS 16.5″ x 7″ brakes, Meritor ABS, 30/30 brake chambers, 10-stud hub-piloted hubs, cast steel drums, steel wheels, Yokohama 11R22.5 tires, Jost 2-speed landing gear, stainless steel ladder with secondary handrail, stainless steel grip-strut walkway, stainless fenders, Truck-Lite LED lighting, and four aluminum placard holders.
