What is a deep drop trailer?

A deep drop tank trailer is a tank trailer made typically from a stainless steel composition (304 SS / 316L SS). These are typically non code tank trailers which are not rated for pressure. These trailers are designed to haul heavier non code products such as liquid feed, molasses, fertilizers, such as Urea and other non-code products used in the agricultural field

Most commonly in the United States, non-code deep drop trailers will range from 5000 to 6000 gallons. They are typically center discharge, but sometimes you can find someone who is using a belly line to the rear. These trailers need a pump to push the product off and you will find the pump either mounted to the trailer or on the tractor.
